Gouverneur & St. Lawrence County Fair

Talent Show Rules

The Gouverneur & St. Lawrence County Fair’s Talent Show is Tuesday, July 29, 2025 at 5:00 P.M.

There is a limit of 15 Acts per Category.  It is on a first come/first served basis.  You must live in St. Lawrence County to participate, unless your county does not offer a Talent Show.

·       1^st Category Ages 3-11

·       2^nd Category Ages 12-16

·       3^rd Category Ages 17 & Above

$5.00 Entry Fee per Act

·       Practice time will be available at the stage on Tuesday, July 29^th between 1:30 P.M. and 4:00 P.M.  It is on a first come/first serve basis, with a limit of 1 practice for each act.

·       No Bands are allowed to participate.

·       Participants are required to arrive at the stage no later than 4:30 P.M. on Tuesday.

·       Any participant arriving later than 4:45 p.m. on show night will not be allowed to perform regardless if the registration has been paid and collected.  There will be NO refunds for anyone not allowed to participate due to a late arrival.  This is to ensure that everyone is here, ready to go and will be present for the rules and recommendations.

·       Mail or bring your entry form to the Gouverneur Fair Office, 85 E. Barney Street, Gouverneur, NY  13642.  Entries will be accepted until Monday, July 28^th, 2025.

·       Your music must be on a USB drive (standard .mp3 or .mp4 format) or a CD.  If you choose a CD, please have 2 CDs with your music downloaded correctly!  Your music must be turned in with your payment and entry form.  Please have your name on your USB drive/CD.  We would like time for our sound person to run your music to ensure it is in working order, prior to the Talent Show.
